Hi! Who doesn't feel awkward when they try to write something to introduce themselves?
Two things that have been basically a constant in my life since before conscious memory would have to be art, and animals. Roleplay came a little later, when I discovered the wonderful world of Mu*s (and made some of my dearest friends), then later was introduced to tabletop (which I adore, and have played campaigns spanning years) and even more recently, MMOs (I hang out on SWTOR a fair bit). The three- that is, art, animals, and RP come together frequently to be a major source of creative inspiration for me, and fictitious beasts and alien species are a bit of a favourite. I'm a bit of a nutter for the natural world, and understanding the form and function and natural behaviour of all animals, to the point where zoology was my major area of study and the care of magical (okay, well, they're magical to ME) creatures is my profession. I like to believe my creatures; or sapient animals, or alien life-forms; could actually exist, both when I write them and draw them, and seek to bring that to any characters I depict.
Humans and humanoid characters are perhaps newer to my repertoire, but they were inevitable after delving deep into the world of Star Wars. A little further from my comfort zone, perhaps, but what's an artist that doesn't push themselves to improve?
Stories (and hence, RP) are a huge source of my inspiration; illustrating scenes is something I enjoy tremendously.
Commissions:
I'm always open to discussion about commissions, but depending on my workload sometimes there's a long wait! RP art is a hobby and a stress reliever for me, I don't depend on the income so will work to suit basically anyone's budget. I'm also open to trades and even in-game currency!
